Core Psychology Services

Dr Peter Cliff (Counselling Psychologist) set up Core Psychology services in 2013 and has been providing outstanding clinical services.

We provide a warm, safe environment for children and adolescents. We have extensive experience working in a variety of children settings ranging from secure to open settings. The first step is to carry out a highly specialised assessment and we use a variety of methods to engage children and adolescents.

Play therapy is used in different forms depending on the age of the young person. Core Psychology has practitioners that have been trained in ADOS-2 which means that Autism assessments can be carried out at the independent schools.

Core Psychology Services provide children and adolescent mental health services across the UK. The services are tailored to each school and can be delivered anywhere in the UK. We provide therapy services in hard to reach areas and for the hard to reach young people and their families.

We provide individual packages of care that will meet the needs of the young people in the individual setting. There are one to one services, family work and working with staff to embed the psychological understanding into the different settings.

Our services span the UK and we are committed to meeting your services needs. Some of our services are in Norfolk, Derby, Leicester, County Durham, and Sheffield.

Core Psychology Services have training Continuous Professional Development (CPD) courses that are: “Approved by The British Psychological Society Learning Centre for the purposes of Continuing Professional Development (CPD).”
